We don't share the space with the pigs any more, but this was where our lovely tamworths lived for a while.

The PigPen has always strived towards being eco friendly. We aim
to avoid the use of single-use plastic.

We are always looking to improve the quality of the PigPen experience, and already aim to source most ingredients locally.
From September 2021 we increased the use of locally sourced and organic ingredients. Warm home-made bread made with Stoates organic flour from Cann Mills near Shaftesbury can be slathered with organic butter on arrival.
We have been successful in finding locally produced woodland reared pork from Dinnington estate farm, ruby red beef from Nick Wakely at Compton Durville and lamb, reared on the family farm in Dorset.
We are keen vegetable growers and supply the Pigpen Feasts with our very own home grown veg wherever possible.
Our charcoal towers will keep you warm outside, and we are now using 'restaurant quality' charcoal sustainably produced by

Hello and a very warm welcome to The PigPen from Kath and Trev. Way back in 2010 we celebrated a big 100th joint birthday in the orchard and loved having so many people around us, enjoying the orchard and the atmosphere. Since then we have marked 25 years of Kath's residency at Fair View - our lovely home - and hosted a beautiful family wedding. We love being outdoors in our orchard creating a relaxed space and are delighted to share our 'gathering space' with you.

The PigPen marquees
The PigPen marquees
Our fantastic marquees provide two wonderful magical spaces, completely protected from all the elements the weather might throw at us. Made with rescued roof sections from old wedding marquees, cut up into various triangular and rectangular bits, whipped together by Barnz from 'Pirates of the Carabina' on his amazing, ancient industrial sewing machine, we have up-cycled two fabulous marquees. A mini 'big top' which is - in Barnz' words - 'bomb-proof' and a round 'fairy tent' on the site of a cider-apple tree! In the round and oblong, we will be using them at Friday Feasts come rain or shine.
